The Expensive Mistake Is Running the Line Last
A patio project has an order of operations, and gas comes earlier in it than most people expect. Once the stone is set and the walls are built, running a line to the fire feature means taking part of it back up.
Talk to us while the plan is still on paper and the gas becomes a trench nobody notices. Talk to us in September and it becomes a demolition line item.

Before the hardscape goes down. Running a gas line after the stone is set costs noticeably more than running it before, and the fire feature's position affects where everything else lands. A ten-minute conversation in the planning stage saves real money later.
Propane tank or a line from the house?
Both work. A permanent line from the meter means no tanks to swap and nothing to run out halfway through an evening, and it's what most people end up preferring. We'll price either, and we'll tell you if your meter can carry the extra load.
Does salt air ruin outdoor gas equipment?
It's hard on it. That's not a reason to avoid outdoor fire on this coast, it's a reason to choose materials and finishes that hold up near the water. We'll steer you away from the ones that photograph well and don't last five seasons here.
Do you sell fire pits and fire tables?
Yes, along with grills. They aren't loaded into our online estimator, so you won't see them priced on this site. Call us or come to the Court Street showroom and we'll walk you through the whole outdoor line.
Do you do outdoor kitchens?
Not really, and we'd rather say so than take a job we're not the best fit for. We do outdoor fire—fireplaces, pits, tables—and grills. For a full outdoor kitchen build you want a specialist, though we're glad to handle the fire feature inside somebody else's plan.
